Wow! It's been awhile!

But I have been not well. My friends know what's been going on so I won't go into detail to bore you any. But I wanted to post this quick announcement here that I have posted part one to a new story. It's called "Bottomless", and with a LOT of help and encouragement from Sandy, the story that almost never was, finally made it to light! Thank you Sandy, from the "Bottomless"-ness of my heart. With out you, this story would not have happened. Period. Many thanks go out to you. You have helped me keep my focus thru many things regarding the story behind the story. And once again, I am humbled by your talent. Most of you from the Simtales forum know of the health concerns I have been going thru, and the struggles I have been dealing with in quitting smoking. Doing that one major thing, really opened the door, and like the cliff hanger in this story, left me in some very unfamiliar territory. But that was only part of the story behind the story. This story was actually born from a contest on the forum. During the holiday season, in December of last year. It turned out to be the only entrant. But the contest was cancelled. So here, finally, is the story that almost wasnt'..due to many different things...LOL!! At least..the first part of it. Mwahahahhahaahah!!!! check us out at... www.simtales.net

I wanted to let you know that my Realm of Dreams story is being updated. I also want to thank Sandy from Simtales for all of her beautiful and hard work. She has taken a run of the mill type story and captured it's soul, and brought it to life. If you want to read more of her work just follow the link here on my main page to her blog. But with Christmas and birthdays and anniversaries all rolled into one month, December is a very busy month for me. And I lost November somewhere along the line. Haven't seen it anywhere. But to let you know I am still kicking, I just posted a new little jingle. Well, the tune itself isn't new, or even mine, but it's my interpretation of it. You'll find it under the heading, Songs and such. It's called "Ding! Fries are done!" Enjoy!

And hit me upside the head with a very seasonal twist. So in the Spirit of the Season, I wrote another poem. If you'll pardon the pun.....LOL!!!!! Hope it doesn't disturb you tooooooo much...Heh heh heh heh heh!!!!! It's in my poetry section...enjoy!

and let you know I am still exploring BV and some of the new hacks I have added in. Add to that mixture the Contest at SimTales, I entered..but I can't reveal here just yet..and that makes me a very busy camper.....LOL!!!! But I am gearing up to write some more...I have been working on some things...now if only I can get the sims to cooperate..... Catch ya later.....and have a Happy Hallowe'en!!!!

New Story!!!!

As some of you have guessed, I am, indeed, working on a new story. It is a Sim story. That means pictures. :p. This story was spawned within my curious little mind when I happened to be trying to re-make my neighborhood. Which was lost when I loaded Bon Voyage. I need to say that it was not the expansion pack, Bon Voyage, that caused me to lose my NH. But my choice to delete it. There I found it was the NH that was causing my problems. And i thought it was my pc....might still be yet. Just glad it is running my game. I had to recreate some of my simmies and I decided to advance them a little through time, and gave some of them families. I had originally intended to give them all children old enough to go on Vacation with them, but when I got to my Rogan Family, I was struck by one of my 'curiousities muses". So I did the 'whole take a peek at what their toddlers would look like' thing. And that's when I saw the cutestest, mostest adorablelest, little minx. (Thanks for the uber-superlatives, Leah and Michael.) And then when I finished creating her, I made her older brother. So here are the family members names.. Karl, Sara, Josh and Samie. Samie is short for Samantha, if you were wondering. And Sara is my re-created version of the youngest Ottomas. One of the twins. I have yet to create the rest of them, but I will get to it. I want to tell you all about her, but that would give away the story now wouldn't it? I am willing to say that this story came about quite ass-backwards, as stories go. I had been learning how to do the cameraman mode within the game, so I could, maybe, have nicer pictures, and since this certain little booger was so cute, I decided to take some perspective shots. That's when I discovered her personality. And quite a little character she is too. I do have some reservations, which I am hoping that you will put to rest. Since I will be writing this story from her point of view. Which could be veeeeryyyy interesting, or else it will attest to the fact that I have spent waaaaaayyyyyy too much time around children. Meanwhile, here is a picture that didn't make the final scene selection. It's a great shot, but I didn't like the fact that even tho' the sky looks like a ceiling, it isn't a ceiling. And yes, the rest of the shots are pretty good. Even tho' I am saying so myself.....

And here is one that did.

I hope you have enjoyed this little preview. I have a working title, but am not sure if I will keep it or not. I call this one "A Day in the Life of Samie Rogan." I will let you know when it is finished. TTFN!!!!

The Weekend......

I hope every one had a great weekend. Whether they were celebrating Labor Day, or it was just an ordinary weekend.......my weekend happened to coincide with my birthday......and I'd have to say it was a great one. I was spending all weekend celebrating with friends, and family. That's a first for me. But now that all is said and done..it is time to wind down, and begin the next year of my life. I hope it goes as well as my weekend did. That would be nice. Wonder what is in store for me.......or maybe I shouldn't as I could very well be jinxing myself. Well, it's almost time to go watch my wrestling show, and have my birthday drink. I was originally going to drink it ON my birthday...but I was kept so busy, I didn't have time....it should be really cold by now. If not, I need a new fridge......LOL!!!!!!

I am currently in the process of saving everything to draft form. That way it can all go up almost at once. I have been so frustated and overwhelmed at trying to figure all of this out, literally screaming and pulling out my hair. No...no bald spots yet. Working on it. I have to give major props and kudos to a couple of really good people.....Leah, Sandy, Beth, and Gayle. All of them trying to help me with this, offering what knowledge they have gleaned from doing this themselves. With a lot more success than I have had. My heartfelt thanks, and respect goes out to you. Just for the support alone. Not to mention the rest..... And Leah...it really is like learning Voodoo in Greek to me.....

I have the second part to my Eden Series posted now. Sort of. I had originally wanted them on their own page. And so they are. You have to hit the link, and use the older/newer post link there to see both parts. I am so sick of trying to get the links right.....that I think I am going to just leave it. Starting to have flashbacks of all the different times I have tried to do something on the computer.....and couldn't do it. Going to go hide from this for awhile, and lick my wounds in private.

I finally learn how to do this kind of stuff, and the site where the rest of my story is.....is down for maintenance. So it might be another day before I can get up the next part. Oh well, I tried. But there might be something else I can do..I have written some poetry, so maybe I will go ahead and get it posted, on yet another part of this wonderful site. That is if I can figure that out again...... I still have not decided upon a picture yet. Got to dig out my discs with them and go thru them all. By the way, that is a chore in and of itself.....and I still have not figured out how to link all my different pages together.....1 thing at a time I guess. Wouldn't want to strain my brain with all this new information coming in.....

Ok. Day two. And now I have enough information to begin uploading some of my stories. And get a migraine in the process. But I guess that's the price I pay for wanting to share with others. Right. Here's to good friends who enjoy doing this to me.......Cheers!!! (And you know who you are.) Eventually I will be adding a picture here. Don't know what yet. Be patient with me. I am just pc illiterate is all. But I will learn this Voodoo in Greek yet!!!!! Check back later. Especially if you enjoy the misery of others!!!!!
